Established in 1892, Kaka Halwai Sweet Center (KHSC) is a legacy Indian mithai brand rooted in the rich cultural traditions of Pune, Maharashtra. Founded by the late Mr. Morappasheth Gadve (Kaka), the brand began as a single sweet shop known for authentic taste, uncompromising quality, and traditional recipes. In 1977, carrying forward this legacy, Mr. Surendraseth Gadve, along with Mr. Rajendraseth and Mr. Ravindraseth Gadve, established Kaka Halwai Sweet Center at Tilak Road, Pune, creating an independent identity that allowed the brand to grow while preserving its heritage and values.
Building on the core principles of quality, integrity, and innovation, KHSC expanded steadily. A key milestone came in 1984 with the launch of its first franchise at Nal Stop, Karve Road, Pune, marking the beginning of structured regional expansion. Today, KHSC operates 22 branches across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Talegaon, and Baramati, supported by modern manufacturing facilities and strict hygiene standards. Led by the sixth generation, the brand has embraced modern retail and digital platforms, supplying products to DMart, Reliance, Star Bazaar, Big Basket, and online partners such as Swiggy, Zomato, and its own website. With a firm no palm oil policy and rigorous ingredient checks, KHSC continues its journey toward national and global expansion—serving authentic taste and trust for generations.
